Priority post goes by air. Economy post goes by ship and train. The Irish post office told us this ....... Priority mail to most continental European countries takes about 4 - 5 working days. Economy mail takes 5 - 10 days. The reason for the 5 - 10 days variability is that the ship leaves every few days - you could be lucky and have your mail arrive at the sorting office on the day a ship leaves, or unlucky and have your mail waiting a few days for the next ship to leave. All delivery times are in working days
